After a day of working in the hotel with Jamie and Brandon, I decided to take some time to relax on the computer. I came in the office/glider room as I do many, many times each day. Nothing was strange. Then I heard Pickard screaming and the dogs barking, so I decided to go out and see what was going on (this sometimes happens when there is a knock at the door or when a dog barks on TV). So, I get up, make my way to the door, turn the knob and about pull my arm off trying to open the door.

After staring at it for a moment, I realized that the dead bolt on the office door had been engaged. I had been locked in my own office/glider room!

This lock will not engage on its own. It is not loose and, to my knowledge, has not been used once since I moved here. Just another one of George's pranks.

Why can't George be persuaded to be equally effective at locking people OUT of the hotel??

I take it you got out?

Sounds like a prank to me! Silly George's just trying to keep you on your toes!
