The CRAVINGS!!!!! UGH

Do you guys ever get a craving for something that you just can't have - you can't feed the craving??? I HATE this.

Right now I am craving this bourbon chicken from a place in the Great Lakes Crossing Mall in Michigan. Not just any bourbon chicken will do - it must be THAT bourbon Chicken. Of course, I am in Texas, so there is no way to just go get some. So, what is a girl to do?

This happens to me more than I would like to admit. When I lived in Michigan I used to crave beef enchiladas from Lorene's mexican restaurant here in Borger, Texas. So, I learned to deal. But, it sucks!

I regularly crave foods, but most of the time I can do something about it.

What do you crave?

When I lived in Rhode Island (ELEVEN years ago!) there was a great Chinese restaurant down the street. We went there every single week for 10 years! We were all like family. They came and visited me when my sons were born, and then I went to visit the girl (her parents were the owners, but the entire family worked there) when she had her daughter.

They would invite us for Chinese New Year. Only my husband, me and their accountant! That's how close we were!

No Chinese food ever anywhere else has tasted like theirs.

Their pot stickers. Their Twice Cooked Pork. Mmmm.

I crave it still!

MMMMMMMmmmmmmm! Pumkin Cheesecake.

Wait, we need to ban this section. I am on a DIET People! Some of us don't lose weight just cause we want to.
